LANDON LACROSSE 14 SSSA 7

On April 7, the last time that the Saints and the Bears played, it was a 16-11 win. The quarter-by-quarter score tells a different tale- Q1L2 S2; Q2 L6 S6; Q3 L13 S 9; Q4 L 16 S 11. The IAC semi-final was different from the outset.

For the first twelve minutes, the Saints had more turnovers than shots on goal. The visitors’ offense, which produced 4 goals in the previous game’s first quarter and ½, was constantly denied opportunities to shoot and sometimes even pass by the Bear D. The SSSA wanted to play, but the Landon middies/LSMs/D/goalie didn’t allow their opponents space or time in which to create.

Landon scored Goals #1-6 before the Saints scored their 1st. Of the initial 10 registrations on the scoreboard (over 2 periods), Landon put up 9.
