Spring Sports


Baseball (13-3-2)

Baseball wins over the Bullis Bulldogs 7-6 (home) and 4-2 (away)


Golf (7-2) lost to Prep by a stroke and then to Gonzaga by the same -1.




Bears are 14-0. They beat St. Ignatius  15 – 11.

NOTE: The Crusaders headed North to beat Garden City[8-1] 7-4, the next day and again the next day # 6 Chaminade{5-1] (11-10). [their records before playing SI] {i.e. the CA team went 2-1 in 3 days.}

Landon beat NC’s #1 Cardinal Gibbons 8-5 and finally StA 12-5

It was also announced this week that Andrew Fowler ’17 was named to the Under Armour All-American Lacrosse team.




Rugby (Coach France)


Landon Rugby moved to 4-0 with a solid 64-3 win over Gonzaga’s DII team at Prindle Field on Wednesday.

Next up we play Prep Varsity at Prep tomorrow at 5:00 PM.



Bear are now 6-0 with a win over StA.



Track (Coach Hunt)

Yesterday Landon’s varsity track and field team traveled to Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring MD to face the host Warriors and Magruder High School. It was a heavy travel day for Landon, and only half the team could fit an activity bus 24. That being said the Bears were quite competitive taking third behind Magruder by only 20 points. Landon’s results are posted below. Our next meet is Friday at Episcopal High School.

Spring Sports



Nick Blasey (2016) is a scrum half for Dartmouth.  Dartmouth won the Ivy league sevens tournament last weekend for at least the third year in a row and won the Ivy 15’s in the fall for the 10th consecutive year.
