Cross Country

The Running Bears had a week off.

 

Football

The Bears, for the 1st time in 5 tears, shut out an opponent—this game against the Barons of BCC, played  at Walter Johnson 35-0 For more details, click on this.

Soccer

Coach Reed’s squad (now 6-1) engaged StA in an extremely exciting match. The Bears were down 0-2 late in the game and scored four unanswered goals, two within the last two minutes to win 4-2; full story here.

After that win on Prindle, they traveled to the Rockville Pike neighborhood to play the Hoyas and left with a 1 -0 win. Allan Kupka (6G, 4th in 4 games) scored off of a Burke McLaughlin assist in the 2nd half.  Alex Freed made 7 saves.

First game for the Bears:

In a win over Mount Saint Joe’s of Baltimore,13- 6 Conor Durbin set a school record today against MSJ. Durbin scored a record high of ten goals breaking Blake Dannenbaum’s record of nine goals in a single game. He just missed the single season records for steals by 2. With about fifteen more games on the docket, Durbin is on track to get his name on the record board.

Dominque Seagears (L14), CB, Trinity Bantams (2-0) beat Williams 38-13 played (started?) and had the 2nd number of tackles with 5.

Mark Ebo, (L16), DL, College of the Holy Cross Crusaders (2-3), beat LAFAYETTE 38-28 , DNP

Keith Simms, (L16), LB, University of Oregon Ducks (2-3) lost 33-51 to WASHINGTON STATE, played

Jacob Wright, (L16), Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops (1-3) lost to DENISON 14-21 DNP.
