Cross Country

The team ran in the Bullis Classic for which there are no results posted yet. Coach shared this bit of interesting information–Alex Mearns, number 25 Freshmen in the state of Maryland.

 

Football

The Bears traveled to Walt Whitman High School and won 21-3. For more details, click on this.

Soccer

Coach Reed’s squad beat Good Counsel 3-1; Allan Kupka (’18) , Drew Manca (’17) and Burke McLaughlin (’18) scoring the goals; Zach Johnson assisted on two of them; and  Alex Freed (’18) saved 11 shots.  At the Heights, the Bears won by a 3-1 score. This time Alex made one less save; Drew Manca scored again; Drew Parker  (’18) had a goal and Zach scored.  On Wednesday at 4:30pm, they play home against #4 DeMatha (2-1) [beat Churchill 4-1 and lost 1-2 to #1 Whitman] at

Water Polo

Coach Bartman’s team lost to powerhouse Gonzaga 15-23 and are playing in the Battle of the Beltway this weekend.

Matt Underhill (L13) K, Joe Gagnon (L13) DL, Washington & Lee Generals (1-1), beat Sewanee 21-17 JHU, #96 dnp, Matt 3/3 on PATs, 4K/Os ave., 61.8 yds., 1TB

Mark Ebo, (L16), DL, College of the Holy Cross Crusaders (1-1), lost to UNH 28-39 dnp

Keith Simms, (L16), LB, University of Oregon Ducks (2-0) win 44-26 over UVa, played s evidenced by this picture and was interviewed before the game by OU’s SID.

Nick Diaz (L13), Scott Powell (L13), Taylor Diaz (L15), Allegheny College Gators. 1-2-1. Beat Theil 4-0; Nick and Scott played; Nick scored the 1st goal from the top of the box and assisted on the 3rd. Lost to Christopher Newport 0-2, both Nick and Scott played.

Charles Branche III (L16), Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops, 3-1, the freshman has worked hard to recover from last year’s ACL injury and is pleased to be on OWU’s roster.

 

A.J. Miele (L16) Dickinson Red Devils, 0-3-1, AJ has played in both games
