The Bears began the knockout round against John Jay, a team they pummeled in the earlier game. The early part of the game saw the game turn into a defensive slugfest, with teams trading defensive stops after defensive stop. Finally, the Bears broke the 0-0 tie with five minutes left in the period. In the second period, the Bears opened the floodgates, scoring four goals in the period to essentially put the game out of reach for the visitors. In the third period, the Bears put two pucks in the net to win the game 6-0 an advance to the championship. Jack Concannon and Tommy Mottur backstopped the shutout effort.

In the championship game, the Bears faced off against archrival Georgetown Prep. Unlike the John Jay game, the Bears game out flying scoring 3 quick goals to give Prep no hope of coming back. Although Prep had 9 skaters, they still had some chances, but Jack Concannon thwarted any attempts by the Hoyas. When the final horn sounded, the Bears had won the championship by the score of 5-0. The team now has 3 consecutive games without allowing a goal.

Three shut outs in five games out scoring our opponents 35-4

The next game is a big one. Wednesday at 4:30 against St. Albans.
