Landon 7 Riverdale Baptist School 28

The massive (7 players of 250# or greater), fast, elusive and deep Crusaders (now 3-2) did something that none of the Bears’ previous competitors did this year; they led from beginning to end with a 21-0 lead at half time. The PG County school has built a very nice stadium, a great turf field and an impressive big screen scoreboard.

The home D were able to handle the complex blocking of the Landon offense by using bulk to clog the holes. When the visitors were converging on the RBS QB or RB in the backfield for a certain loss, the maize and blue clad players were able to break tackles and elude defenders. There were bad bounces and bad calls, but the Bears were beat even if all of those unfortunate outcomes were reversed, Landon would still have lost. .

Onto BCC next week. We should see some very angry Bears!!!

bear sad angry
