Landon Lacrosse 15 Timon 1

Much credit is due to the Tigers of Buffalo who played their first game (their 3rd time on a field) against the Bears. The 2014 version of the visitors won their league, but this roster had some ability, but few reserves (5 substitutes). The Bears, including many of the underclass players, prevailed 15-1.

Somewhat like the John Carroll game, this contest lacked some of the drama of ebbs and flows. The home team scored twice in the 1st quarter, another four by half , another four pack after the intermission and five in the last twelve minutes. Here is a summary of the offense (sorry defense, the quantification of your efforts is not as easy to report):

Khari Baten “That’s a Bear” Award

Khari was not much of an offensive threat, but tenacity and hard work was one of his hallmarks.

For his intense effort, the “That’s a Bear Award goes to Drennan Greene, who had an explosion of five goals on six shots.
