Varsity Lacrosse

The Bears rolled on with a 13-7 win over highly regarded Paul VI, a 15-5 victory against John Carroll, and a hard-earned 13-6 battle over Calverton. If you can get out to see them play, you will enjoy the balance of all three segments and their coordination up and down the field.

Bear Hoops Trax

Danny Rubin, Hapoel Kazrin was in the US during a break in the schedule.

Darion Atkins, UVA power forward had 20 points and 24 rebounds in the last two games. Darion was recognized as the ACC defensive PoY. CBS had a special interview with Minnette, Darion and Darius. He made all Bears proud.

Joe McDonald, GWU guard. Beat Pitt 60-54 and then lost to Temple 77-90. He, the trio of classmates and a deep squad (they lose one senior) will return with high goals in the 2015-2016 season. Raise high.

Bear Ice Trax

Sam Anas, Quinnipiacmade the second team on the All ECAC team. The Bobcats, seeded 14th, earned (they were one of the teams selected based on their season’s performance rather than a AQ league championship) privilege of playing against #1 seed in the region at North Dakota State’s home ice on 3/27 at 8pm televised by ESPNU

 Bear Diamond Trax

Kyle Colgain (2011), Denison Big Red pitcher, went 2-1 without relying on his arm for the games. 

Ian Kelso (2011) Washington University Bears pitcher, went 5-1 for the week and Ian pitched 3 innings versus in relief against Illinois Wesleyan

Jay Graham (2011) Dartmouth Big Green Infielder and reliever; the team was 0-7. Jay pinch hit in one game. 

Max Kra (2012), Bucknell Bisons, reliever: the team went 2-2 with Max pitching 2/3rd of an inning in one game    Rushmore Johnson (2012) Trinity Bantams is not on the roster?

Sean P. O’Brien (2014) , Macalester College pitcher, went 0-4 over the past week and Sean pitched an inning with two strike outs but got the loss.

Bear Tennis Trax

Alex Reinke (2014), Southern Methodist University, the team lost two matches.

Bear Golf Trax

Brent Bubes (2014), Maryland, the Terps did not play last week.

Oliver Hightower (2014), Kenyon Lords.  Their first outdoor meet was unscored

Mac Hightower, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps’ Stags ran in a competition, but no results were recorded.

Deion Wellington, Coastal Carolina’s Chanticleers, his 4×400 relay team took a 2nd behind South Carolina

Jordan Marshall (2014), Davidson Wildcats, was scheduled to participate in the UNC Charlotte 49ers Classic; there are no reported results, but here is a picture of him jumping

Swimming and Diving

Jordan Gear, USC, qualified  for the NCAA diving championships on March 26 .
