  1. When did you start playing football?

I started playing football at the age of 5 playing center and defensive end.

  1. What is your time in the 40 yd. dash and what’s your best bench weight?

This summer I was able to meet my goal of running a mid to high 4.4 in the 40 yard dash and my best bench press is 230lbs.

  1. What is your favorite college football team and college football player?

My favorite college football team is Ohio State and my favorite college football player is Braxton Miller.

My favorite moment during a Landon sporting event was when we beat Bullis to win the IAC my sophomore season of football.

  1. What is your favorite course/faculty member at Landon?

My favorite course would have to be History. I do not have a favorite faculty member because they have helped me to try and reach my full potential in the classroom.

  1. What is your favorite non-sports related activity–community service, music, painting, sculpture, photography, independent paper, debate, drama, poem, extracurricular activity, etc.?

I love ceramic, when I’m having a bad day I can just sit down and get lost in whatever I am trying to make.

  1. What is your nickname (if any) and how did you get it?

I have been called Jay by many of my friends outside of school for some reason so I guess it has stuck to me over the years.

  1. Describe yourself in 3 words? How would your parents describe you in 3 words?

My mom says I am selfless, virtuous, and compassionate. I would say I am enthusiastic, motivated, and athletic.

  1. What’s on your iPod?

I have a little bit of everything on my ipod except for country music.

  1. Tell us one thing (interesting) that your teammates do not know about you.

When I was in 6th grade I took ballet and to this day it has helped me with my athleticism.
