LANDON LACROSSE 13 PENN CHARTER 2

Rainy days usually cause havoc to lacrosse strings; the moisture effects the strings and release point. The visiting Quakers have had a tough early season, but played an IAC team, SSSA, to a close game. Penn Charter’s strength, based on the players who have been recruited, is on the defensive end of the field. The offensive Bears (averaging over 11 goals in their first six games) were not inhibited by the inclement circumstances and won by a 13-2 margin.

Although the PC goalie made many excellent saves, it did not take much time for the Bears to score. Jack Bolen was the middle of three crisp passes which resulted in a Sean O’Brien goal @ 9:45, assist to #15. Sam Lynch notched an unassisted goal @7:07 on a roll dodge. The next goal, a fast alley dodge, by Austin Petty @2:28 was the last of the quarter.
