The Landon Varsity scrimmaged against the Inside Lacrosse #1 ranked HS team and according to a number of fans in attendance, the Bears more than held their own. The Defense, which lost a lot of experience from the nets on out, played well. The Bear O was impressive. Typical of early season scrimmages, the stick work was a little rusty. The boys and coaches seemed to adjust well to the new rules. A good first start was reported.

Two Bears went head-to-head literally as evidenced by this picture of Sam McDonough (#9 for Bucknell) checking his buddy Patrick Keena (#33 Navy) while the Middies were on EMO. The Bison won.
