BEARS SPORT NEWS – SUNDAY EDITION— Some observations on the ’12-’13 Landon Hockey team, Bear Trax for Football, Hoops and Hockey

  • Congratulations to Alex Norwinski ’15 who scored his first goal for the Bears described exquisitely by Dan Buckingham [ ! That’s a Bear!
  • The Class of ’15 is a pretty special one, insofar as there are few superstars, but many highly-accomplished athletes who revel in team play. Sounds like the Landon model, doesn’t it? Moreover, in addition to their proclivity to team together, they soak up knowledge – which means that they’re the true beneficiaries of upper class leaders, who will help step up their game in short order.
  • Given the youth of this team and the abovementioned willingness to listen, Coaches Gammill, Farnstrom and Lubin are doing a great job teaching.

Marek Laco was selected for the Stars and Stripes team, composed of Division III stars, in the 15th  TAZON DE ESTRELLAS – BOWL OF STARS against a very talented and motivated Mexican all-star team in Guadalajara on December 15. Tees un Oso!
