Bears Bites

From the NCAA swimming championships, courtesy of reachforthewall.com, news of a Bear in the pool–UNC senior Brock Park (Landon/Curl-Burke) was 16th in the 100 butterfly (48.63) and 19th in the 50 freestyle (20.56).

There are good reasons why I am really not competent to cover other sports, but as best as I can tell, it appears that Johnny Sharp, Malachi Bostic-Wattley,Timothy Nixon, Oliver Hightower, Joshua Michael, Randall Seeger, Theodore Tanous, Austin Polun, Timothy Nixon, Romare Marshall, Sam Krauland and other Bears (send me information and I’ll include it) all had productive and fruitful indoor track seasons. It is not abundantly clear what their times and finishes mean, but it looks like they had a good winter season. From Landon.net, it is clear that these running Bears will show their talents in a 1o event outdoor schedule ( http://www.landon.net/page.cfm?p=1437&teamID=84 ).

Thanks for all of the leads that brought these bites of Bear info to me!!! More such hints are welcome!!

GO BEARS!!!
