BEAR LAX TRAX FAX

Oct. 8th, The Ohio State Univ. Lax team scrimmaged UNC (regular game rules applied) as a fund raiser at Calvert Hall in Baltimore. 4000fans were in attendance. Luke Howard and Boom Leighton were both on the field.  Boom starts for UNC and Luke was 4th pole.  OSU never trailed UNC!!!!  In great pictures which were not reproducible due to technological limitations (hopefully correctable this week), we can see the Buckeye Luke wearing his Landon #, blanketing former Princeton star/now UNC graduate student/star, Jack McBride and smothering big time (per IL) recruit/UNC frosh Joe Shankey

Oct. 15th, OSU scrimmaged 2 other Ohio teams, for another fund raiser (CJD Fall Classic) The opponents were Canisius and Ohio Wesleyan.  Luke was assigned to guard Tommy Minkler, OWU starting Attackman.  It was very fun for the two to be on the same field again, but both felt strange being on opposite sides.
